March 28 - Highway 174 Eastbound Montreal Road to Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard - Overnight Full Closure

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling on Highway 174 eastbound at Montreal Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:          
Full closure of Highway 174 eastbound from Montreal Road to Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard.

When:         
Thursday, March 28 at 9:00 p.m. to Friday, March 29 at 6:00 a.m.

Why:           
Line painting.

Where:        
Highway 174 eastbound from Montreal Road to Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard.

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Detour
Motorists travelling eastbound on Highway 174 will need to exit at Montreal Road and drive east to Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard. They will then turn left and travel north to reconnect to Highway 174 eastbound.

This notice will be updated with a map early next week. 

Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
