May 17-20 - Highway 174 Eastbound at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard - Full Closure

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling Highway 174 westbound should anticipate mobility impacts.

What:
Highway 174 eastbound at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard will be fully closed. Motorists travelling eastbound on Highway 174 will exit at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, continue through the intersection at the end of the exit ramp and then re-enter Highway 174 using the eastbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard on-ramp. The southbound Jeanne d'Arc Boulevard on-ramp to eastbound Highway 174 will be closed during the work. Motorists needing to access eastbound Highway 174 from southbound Jeanne d'Arc Boulevard should continue south to St. Joseph Boulevard and use the roundabout to head north on Jeanne d'Arc Boulevard to the eastbound on-ramp.

When:
Friday, May 17 at 9:00 p.m. to Monday, May 20 at 5:30 a.m.

Why:
Falsework installation for upcoming parapet demolition.

Where:
Highway 174 eastbound at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard.

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Detour
Motorists travelling eastbound on Highway 174 will exit at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, continue through the intersection at the end of the exit ramp and then re-enter Highway 174 using the eastbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard on-ramp. Motorists needing to access eastbound Highway 174 from southbound Jeanne d'Arc Boulevard should continue south to St. Joseph Boulevard and use the roundabout to head north on Jeanne d'Arc Boulevard to the eastbound on-ramp.

Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
