November 18 - Kichi Zībī Mīkan Westbound from Island Park Drive to Dominion Avenue - Overnight Road Closure

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, Kichi Zìbì Mìkan westbound will be closed overnight from Island Park Drive to Dominion Avenue.

What:     
A section of Kichi Zìbì Mìkan westbound will be closed overnight.

When:    
Saturday, November 18 at 10:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 19.

Why:      
Delivery of a traction power substation (TPSS).

Where:   
Kichi Zìbì Mìkan westbound between Island Park Drive and Dominion Avenue.

Anticipated Impacts

Residents living along Kichi Zìbì Mìkan between Island Park Drive and Dominion Avenue may experience noise from equipment working in the area.

Site lighting for overnight work will be required and crews will place and/or direct the light to mitigate impact on residents.

Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.

Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.

The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
