Choose your fare

While the Sno-Bus offers free transit within the downtown core and into Gatineau, fare payment is still expected on all other routes, the O-Train, and STO. But don't fret, we have other free or low cost ways to get you from home to fun!

Kids 10 and under ride for free every day AND seniors age 65 and up ride free on Wednesdays and Sundays. What's even better, Para Transpo seniors can take four free trips a month when they use a registered Presto card to pay per trip.

11- and 12-year-olds now qualify for the NEW low-cost Pre-Teen fare.

With the 2-for-1 DayPass, two customers aged 11 or older can ride all day on Saturday, Sunday and statutory holidays. That means, if you go to Winterlude on January 31, February 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, or 16 (Family Day), two of you can ride on a single DayPass fare for a whole day!

Travel downtown

To get downtown during Winterlude, take the O-Train Line 1or any bus route that serves the downtown area. Park & Ride lots across the city also offer FREE parking and frequent service with connections to Lines 1and 2.

Ride the Sno-Bus

Sno-Bus and Rideau Hall shuttle dates and schedules:

Rideau Hall shuttle
Where: Queen Street at Metcalfe Street to Rideau Hall
Date and time: Saturday, February 7 from 12:10 pm to 4:30 pm
Frequency: Every 30 minutes.

Winterlude Sno-Bus
Where: Elgin Street at Sparks Street to Jacques-Cartier Park North
Date and time (Saturdays, Sundays, and Family Day): January 31, February 1, 7, 8, 14, and 15 from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, and February 16 (Family Day) from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Frequency: Every 15 minutes.
