Wesley Clover Parks, or simply The Parks, is an outdoor recreation and learning hub spanning 500 acres of Ottawa’s Greenbelt, just a short trip west of downtown.
The Parks was created in 2014 when the Wesley Clover Foundation took over operations of the former Nepean National Equestrian Park and the adjacent Ottawa Municipal Campground. The Parks promotes health and education through connections with nature and the outdoors.
The new combined facility continues the long legacy of equestrian sport in Ottawa as well as the continued offering of campground facilities with great proximity to downtown Ottawa. The Parks currently includes a riding school for riders of all levels, a world-class equestrian event campus, a Forest & Nature School and a premium turf soccer field. Cross-country ski trails and ice rinks are available in the winter months. The Parks also has several diverse venues for outdoor sport, recreation and educational events of all sizes.
