Throughout the month of February, OC Transpo riders might notice three of our buses rolling around with a very special look.
As part of OC Transpo’s celebration of Black History Month, a new mural, titled “Pride of Dreams”, was designed and developed by Ottawa artist Jimmy Baptiste and is brimming with symbolism.

Ride the Sno-Bus for free to Winterlude events!
The Winterlude Sno-Bus will connect Winterlude destinations across Ottawa and into Gatineau. Look for OC Transpo buses signed “Sno-Bus” at designated Sno-Bus stops.
On Saturday, February 7, you can catch a shuttle from downtown to Rideau Hall for the Rideau Hall Winter Celebration.

Public consultations begin on the OC Transpo 2026-2029 Accessibility Plan
Residents are encouraged to share their experiences and ideas through a variety of accessible engagement opportunities, including virtual and in-person consultations and an accessible online survey available on Engage Ottawa from January 5 to February 8.

2025 review
Remember when the O-Train extensions were just plans? 2025 changed everything.

Winter service begins Sunday, December 21
Regular schedule adjustments take place four times a year – spring, summer, fall, and winter. This winter, changes in service reflect expected changes in ridership when workers may be on vacation and schools are closed. Other service reliability improvements for buses may include:
OC Transpo fares are changing on January 1. Most fares will increase by 2.5 percent. There will be no change to the price of the EquiPass, Community pass or Access pass.
Fare changes were approved by Ottawa City Council as part of the 2026 budget.
