Metrolinx is currently updating the Presto system to improve customer experience. During the next few weeks, you might notice a one-time delay when you tap your Presto card on a fare reader or fare gate, or at a ticket machine.
Improvements include instant loads, real-time transactions and real-time balances. Overdraft will no longer be available.
