O-Train Extension: The greener way to go!
With the O-Train Extension project on the horizon, Ottawa is taking proactive measures and gearing up to accommodate its projected population growth of 1.14 million people by 2031. The O-Train Extension Project will add an impressive 44 kilometres of rail and 24 new stations, bringing rail transit within 5 kilometres of 77% of residents. An impressive feat that's sure to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 155,000 tonnes over 25 years and make daily commutes a breeze.
